Geometry Dash Video for an English Project
Yeah, the title of this page gives away a lot of information about what this video is, but the story of why I ended up doing this explains a large portion of how we got here. To keep it brief, I had unfortunately gotten COVID-19 after a trip to Spain, which prevented me to go school for nearly a week, and when I came back the following Monday, I was informed by my English teacher that I had an English Project due that Thursday on Process Analysis. Basically, we had to show a step by step procedure of how to do something, and then create a video on us doing that thing. My teacher was willing to give me an extension to the following, but I decided that I was going to make sure that my video was handed in before the Thursday deadline, and that I was going to push myself to make one of my best videos. I decided to create something that I knew how to do, a form of YouTube content about Geometry Dash, and in order to make sure that I complied with what the assignment required, I decided that I would make a video showing people how to make the worst possible level they could, and then get awarded for making that horrible level using a private server dedicated to horrible levels. I recorded, voiced and edited the entire video within 72 hours and it is by far the hardest I have pushed myself on any video project in my entire life, but it was also simultaneously some of the most fun I've had editing a video and also the video which I am the most proud with editing. Not only did I create a video that I was very proud of and got me a 100 on the project, but I was also nominated by the private server I used to make this video for "Best Video of 2023."
